For six months, Debbie worked very hard in her job search and said, the biggest challenge was the "frustration of being unemployed." Tips that she has for other job seekers are to "keep networking and have a positive attitude." She would also highly recommend RochesterWorks! and stated "all the workshops were excellent and I would advise anyone to sign up for them."
One thing Debbie would do differently if she ever finds herself unemployed again is "to do more networking." Her words of advice for other job seekers is to "be persistent and take advantage of all of RochesterWorks! services." As a Job Network Member, Debbie was able to go through a panel mock interview process, which was helpful feedback in identifying areas of improvement.
On August 6, 2007, Debbie started her new position as an IT Support Specialist at Paychex.
Congratulations Debbie for conducting a successful job search and good luck with your new position! 8/2007
